Oh, thank the gods, a fic that tackles Buck/Penny post-movie without making it an uncomplicated, meant-to-be OTP. Nice character bits for other members of the team, too.

A very nice (and mildly smutty) Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot triad fic, very true to White's lierary voice for the characters. I especially like this Guinevere.

When the films are over, Marty has to go back to a home that isn't anything like the one he grew up in. Here we have an exploration of how he adapts. Excellent character work, and a nice father/son bonding moment.

Jason and Calvin - college roommates. This appears to be the darling of the Yuletide readership this year, but I can't say I think it's undeserved.

The Roommate of +10 Confusion (3241 words) by Anonymous

Some beautiful anon redeemed the godsdamned homophobic last line of the last ending and made it okay for me to love Clue again. I can't thank them enough.

A followup to The Dot And The Line, in which the Dot demonstrates that, despite appearances, she is not a flibbertigibbet. I love the original work, but the Dot's characterization has always bugged me just a bit.

Eric the Cavalier gets the last word. And wants room service. Normally I'm a Presto fangirl all the way, but Eric's an interesting character, and - let's face it - I have a soft spot for both nerds and buttmonkeys.

Characters: Eric (The Cavalier), Hank (The Ranger), Sheila (The Thief), Diana (The Acrobat), Bobby (The Barbarian), Presto (The Magician)

Eric's tired of the others always being right.

There's also an interesting Eric/Shiela fic (I don't ship it, but it has a bit of interesting character work), Dreams of Hope, and a novella-length fic I haven't tackled yet for this fandom.

OH. MY. GODS.

Novelette-length Encyclopedia Brown fic, written in the style of the books, in perfect Sobol style and voice. Starts with Leroy as a college frosh. This is pitch-perfect from the first word to the last, edging from the canon series into the style of Sobol's Two-Minute Mysteries (except with more characterization), and finally into something resembling a regular detective novel (not noir, though). Also, Sally kicks all kinds of ass.

Read along and try to solve the cases with them -- and if you get stuck, some of the answers are found at the bottom of the page!

There are several Eureka fics, including one multiple-show crossover. Some of them tackle some of the little-explored relationships pairings and more-ings. Some of them are fix-it fic, including one Jack/Nathan fix-it that is actually pretty good. One of them uses Fargo as a buttmonkey, which - eugh. But this one is a character piece looking at Jo and Jack's friendship as impromptu roommates - short, but very sweet.
