Should it bother me that I'm doing more actual work (a dressing room RP and two short fics) in a retrogaming fandom than in any of my active fandoms? Part of it's just that Eureka kind of let me down this season, and part of it is that I can't get any Eureka fic done until Dr. Banzai gets out of my head - and I've lost his voice. :-( But that doesn't excuse any of the other fandoms. I have a Whoniverse almost-smut half written, I have a humongous LotR fic that I have to rewrite because the authorial viewpoint character changed halfway through, and at some point I'm going to have to finish the awful Whoniverse AU fic that Simm!Master insisted that I write (don't worry, that'll go on a Who-slash community far from here). But gods help me, StarCon II is just such fertile ground for goofy space opera . . . .

In other news, first blooming crepe myrtle sighted today - one this morning along Dallas, and then three more on Weslayan this afternoon. It is, in fact, summer.
