The 12" Ray Stantz is an impressive beast of an action figure. I am amused that it comes with the black glove hands, but you can switch out for an ungloved pair. I had intended to go ahead and open the package, but I suspect he'd be lonely by himself. Conversely, I'd been debating keeping the 6" figures in the packaging until I had a full set, but it seems mean to make Egon and Ray stare at each other through plastic like that. (Geez, me, anthropomorphize much?) That the card for the 6" Stantz was battered a bit in transportation may have something to do with that, too.
The likeness on the 6" figure is, again, startlingly good. There's something off about the mouth on the 12" figure, but it's still darn good - easily recognizable not just as Stantz, but as Aykroyd.
I really, really hope they make good on their promise to do the RGB characters when they're done with the movie lines - if the detail is anywhere near as good, they'll be a lovely set of heartbreakers.
(Jeez, why the heck am I still up? My eyes are gritty and only the Sudafed is permitting me to breathe normally.)
