In short, old!tiny!fandom city. And no smut this time. 8-o

So I was watching the extra materials on the DVD of The Last Starfighter (shut up, it's great) and saw an interview clip of Jeffrey Okun. You can see some clips of him at not-too-great resolution here talking about effects on a more recent film. There's a slightly more clear picture of him here. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding a photo of him with his hair not in a ponytail, but I think in that photo you can at least see that there's a certain resemblance between him and Brent Spiner, particularly around the hairline and the nose. The resemblance is stronger on video than it is in still photographs. And Okun has (or had - one of the publicity stills has him with much shorter hair) past-shoulder-length, rather wild, hair with pronounced silver streaks.

This leads me very strongly to suspect that Dr. Brackish Okun, or at least his name, is a joking in-reference. (Again, not the best photo for showing the resemblance, but I'm having trouble finding any photos of the character at all.) Especially since IMDB helpfully points out that Jeff Okun worked on Stargate.
