For anyone who didn't see it from [livejournal.com profile] greeneyedpagan's post, this was freakin' awesome. Warning: extremely not work-safe, probably shouldn't be viewed if there are sensitive people in the room.

This was a music magazine's list of the 50 Worst Songs. The idea is to old the ones you actually like.

1. We Built This City ... Starship
2. Achy Breaky Heart ... Billy Ray Cyrus

4. Rollin' ... Limp Bizkit
5. Ice Ice Baby ... Vanilla Ice
6. The Heart of Rock & Roll ... Huey Lewis and the News
7. Don't Worry, Be Happy ... Bobby McFerrin (although this is one where an awful lot of people didn't listen to the lyrics)

11. Invisible ... Clay Aiken

I'm glad you enjoyed my movie, but yours was great too!

Now, if we could just get naked Alan Rickman, we'd be doing pretty good . . . ;)

I don't see how this could be the fifty worst songs ever produced. I mean, they left out the oeuvre of Daniel Johnston (http://www.hihowareyou.com/), especially the early stuff. And it's surprising that there aren't at least a few songs like "F___ Martinez" by 2 Live Crew (http://www.lyricsdir.com/0/2-live-crew/).

But even if the list only includes a subset of the pop genre, how could they not include "Crimson and Clover"? I'm sure that singing from the bottom of a fishtank was a novel idea, but it didn't really work out too well.

I love Tommy James and the Shondells

Ah, Mr. Mister. Did I ever tell you about the time I was in the House of Blues green room talking with the guitarist from Mr. Mister, the bass player from Kajagoogoo and Peter Gabriel's bass player about how hard it is to hear yourself on stage. A total 80's moment (except for me, of course.)
