I am severely jealous of the people across the street who have their power back and are flaunting it by leaving their lights on in broad daylight. :-(

While I'm kvetching, can I also note that I really hate having to wash all the dishes by hand? I know, I know, there are enough people who don't have their water back, I should be glad I can wash dishes at all, but it's on my list of 5 Least Favorite Chores and I'm having to do it after every meal. Yeah, baaww and all that. :-/

I think this would be a GREAT time to make friends with the neighbors. Or at least invite yourselves over to charge your cell phones/laptops/etc!

It's okay, dear, to be all kvetching and irritable. Blame it all on those neighbors who leave their lights on, wasting power like that. Why, the chutzpah! Who do they think they are, anyway? :)

I spent days staring at downtown Houston with the same frustration. Here's hoping for juice in the very near future.
