. . . Apparently not.

I thought it was acting flaky earlier in the week, but I figured it was just low on juice. Now it's telling me "no service" no matter where I am in the apartment, on the porch, or out on the sidewalk.

I have no idea what the problem is. I guess I should try and reboot it. Anyone have any suggestions other than "try turning it off and on" and its variants ("try taking out the SIM card and re-inserting it" and "try taking out the battery for a little bit")?

UPDATE: A hard reboot seems to have done the trick, at least for the moment.

You could take it to the store where you got it and have the firmware re-flashed to it. If the software went corrupt, that should fix it.
