Somewhere around the two-minute mark I went "Hey, where did Chico go?" and had to back up to make sure he was still at the piano, because everyone else was up in the way.

I'm surprised a couple of bits of this got past the censors . . .

But yeah, this style of playful comedy seems to have gone out of style. I wonder if there's anyone out there who could manage a revival?

IIRC, the censors didn't get really strict till closer to midcentury, but I could be remembering wrongly on that. :-)

Yeah, playful is not something adult's movies are really great at anymore, I dunno...
