One of the presidential debates during the 1980 presidential election. I don't remember which one it was, but I came out of it with the impression that Carter was more sincere than Reagan. Wisdom of a child and all that. (Not that there was a particularly good choice in that election. I vaguely remember kind of liking Anderson, too.)

Date: 2010-03-22 05:47 pm (UTC)That was the first presidential election I was old enough to vote in. I watched the ads for the two major party candidates, and they weren't saying, "Vote for me," they were saying, "Don't vote for the other guy." So I didn't - I voted for Anderson.
