So I won one of the [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti auctions, specifically [livejournal.com profile] scarfman's fanart offering. (Yes, I'm aware that fanworks-for-charity are problematic for a number of different reasons, and yes, I would have donated anyway. And no, I didn't offer anything, partly because of the issues just mentioned but mostly because I only have, like, three fans *waves at them*, and they're all more broke than I am.)

I made three possible suggestions, and he combined the two that did not involve doing triangle versions of the Boys In Grey. ;-) The cartoon is an epilogue to my Banzai/Eureka crossover Spun Right Round, with the Doctor giving exposition to Banzai, one of the few humans who might understand him if he got technical.

I am completely and totally in love with triangle!New Jersey. That is the cutest thing I've seen so far this year.

Hee, you monkey, you've got way more fans than that. :)

That is adorable!

*counts on fingers* Part of the problem is that the set of people who will read my Eureka fics only partially overlaps with the set of people who will read my GB/RGB fics, and most of my Eureka readers will only read if I plug them to one of the comms - they're not subscribers. Right now you, Spinner, and Peoria are the only people commenting semi-regularly on the GB/RGB stuff, and then Fiona once in a while when it's gen or a pairing she likes. (Has anyone seen Nugatory recently? I thought she might like the two pr0n bits I posted this week, but I've not heard anything.)

Anyway, my point was I'm not a BNF and most of my fandoms are small, so I wouldn't be a terribly large draw on a charity fic auction, and I was too scared to put my ego out there like that and find out I was right. :-/

"Laugh-a while you can, Monkey Boy!" :-)

Hey, I was about to ask the same thing about T. I hope she's okay. She's mentioned before that she's a Busy Lady and has intermittent internet access due to teenager(s), so hopefully that's all it is.

Aw, yeah, that would suck, to put the offer out and have no takers. Yeah. :( Hee hee hee, pr0n bits. *giggles inordinately*

Why are we still up? I mean, I know why *I* am still up, because I'm having Massive Fuckup Guilts and if I just stay up late enough, disaster won't occur (knowing why I do it doesn't make me stop, apparently ;)), but why are YOU still up? :-D

I hope so as well. I always worry when 'Net folks disappear for prolonged periods.

I'm still up because (a) I slept until, like, eleven-thirty, (b) I have a chest full of phlegm and therefore am uncomfortable lying down, and (c) I'm sorting through the [livejournal.com profile] springkink prompts looking for something to write and trying to remember which prompts were mine in the first place. Not like I don't have enough on my plate, but if I sent prompts in I feel obligated to claim a few.

*nods* That seems both fun and mannerly.

I have a lot of monkey icons.
