Sorting my iTunes library by most played gives me the following list:
14 - "Ebay," Weird Al Yankovic
13 - "Horseshoes," Moxy Fruvous
13 - "Glass Vase Cello Case," Tattle Tale
13 - "Playground," XTC
12 - "Save It For Later," Harvey Danger
12 - "Closing Time," Semisonic
11 - "Blue Russian," Scruffy the Cat
11 - "Sora," Yoko Kanno (from the Escaflowne soundtrack)
10 - "Lovers In a Dangerous Time," Bruce Cockburn
10 - "Closer To Fine," Indigo Girls
10 - "As I Lay Me Down," Sophie B. Hawkins
10 - "Heart And Soul," T'Pau
10 - "Meet Your New Landlord," Webb Wilder
I have a ton and a half of 9's, so I think I'll use UIL rules and stop there.
A few random comments:
Wow, Weird Al at #1. Not what I expected.
While I'm embarrassed by the lack of gender parity on the list, I have to admit it's not as bad as I feared it might be. Partially that's because of T'Pau's high ranking, which is largely an artifact of its being the next song after "As I Lay Me Down" in my standard library.
The BNL version of "Lovers In a Dangerous Time" is one of my 7's. I don't have the English Beat version of "Save It For Later" in my iTunes list at all.
The Fruvous is a live version. I don't have the studio version. I need more Fruvous.
I'm a little surprised none of the a cappella scored higher. I'm a little surprised any of the anime soundtrack stuff scored this high.
