Hyperactive no longer describes me accurately. I'm too damn old. I can work up a good lather, but the brain bending, red sight creating, manic attcks just don't bubble up like they used too. I think my body fat absorbs all the adrenaline or something. Finn is working up to being hyperactive. At least he's not berserker level.

. . . And why do so many of us want to prevaricate on the gender question? (I'm beginning to think that American gender roles make anyone who's above average intelligence feel at least slightly cross-gendered or ungendered - intellectualism is seen as both unfeminine and unmasculine, somehow . . .)
