Oh, I dunno. Granting the crossover in the first place (which is not so difficult as you may imagine - you're looking at someone who's crossed Doctor Who with Absolutely Fabulous and The Vicar of Dibley within the same four-panel comic strip), the 'ship was rather inevitable wunnit?

Yeah, it was, especially since there's an episode of Max Headroom with another female-voiced AI, and it's vaguely implied that Max seduced her, too, albeit not quite as directly.
