omorkaYeah, so we got out of Watchmen at about 1:30 am. The Spouse is deeply dissatisfied with it. I think it's about as good as a movie adaptation made for a 21st-century audience could be. Not being an extreme fangirl of the source material, I'm reasonably pleased.
I'm waiting for the "all Rorschach needs is the lurve of a good woman; he's my woobie, darn it!" and "Ozy was right!" craziness from the legions of new, squeeeing fangirls. That Ozymandias is a bishie isn't going to help, either.
