I watched the Oscars and read a bestselling novel all in the same weekend!

Sweep . . . sweep . . . sweep . . . sweep . . .

They'll never be able to laugh at fantasy in this town again!

J.R.R. is boffo big box office, with critics and fans on the same side for once!
Comic books are mainstream entertainment.
Video games are even more mainstream entertainment.
The stereotype for a computer programmer is now a young, thin, attractive asian man with stylish clothes
(not a fat, bearded white man with suspenders and B.O.).
kids think typing in a terminal is cool, as long as it's done on a phone.

Have we succeded? Can our generation start working on world peace now that nerds are hip?
Clearly we can do anything when we put our hearts into it!
