White stuff falling from the sky

Holy crap, it's snowing. Like, big fluffy clumps of flakes. It's even obscured visibility a couple of times. It's not sticking, of course, since it was, like, 72 degrees yesterday. But still - for Houston, this is pretty strange.

Edit: It's stopped, and what's out there is melting, but it managed to chill the cars and other metal objects enough to stick to them - and to a few (mostly leaf-covered) places on the ground. The Spouse, who has been griping about the apartment being too cold, has run out in only a fleece jacket to take photos.

Snowing here for about an hour now, and it's trying to stick; the carport, which doesn't have the residual heat of the ground, has a good coating.
