*raises hand* While there are steampunk stories I enjoy (*cough*Girl Genius*cough*), they're invariably despite the setting, not because of it. It always seems one step removed from Victoriana, which I hate.
I'm also crap at GMing supers, but that's a separate issue.
I was kind of kidding, hence the emoticon. But I also admit I would be a total sucker for the setting. It'd be close to the one I always want to run or play in: steampunk + fantasy, like the background world of Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. Too bad the game itself was so bad.
While I might be curious enough to play that, curious enough even to overcome my slight distaste for steampunk, I am so not the right person to run it.
I might be able to do something like Bureau 13 By Gaslight - would that be close enough?
One of the main reasons I is a fan of Bronze Age fantasy stuff is 'cause I'm a big fan o' Glorantha games (RuneQuest 1, 2, 3, x, y, z, etc; HeroWars; HeroQuest [rpg, not the board game]). :)
