Ah, the good old days of Zork and their ilk. Aside from Galatea, I haven't played IF in years, but you never, ever forget the lurking grue, and all the rest.

I even wound up, at age 14, getting a testimonial of mine about the Zork series that I mailed Infocom put on the inner flap of an edition of Zork III.
