omorkaI'm sure by now everyone who cares knows that Ken Lay and Jeffrey Skilling have been declared guilty by their jury, Skilling on 19 out of 28 charges, Lay on 6 out of 6 + the 4 bank fraud charges he was tried alone on.

I wonder what Judge Lake will give them for their sentences (which they don't get until September 11). Several people are already mumbling about them skipping the country, or Dubya pardoning their asses, but I doubt Skilling with manage either of those, at least. Expect another drunken incident from him shortly; what remnants of his sanity he's retained so far are likely to crack. No such luck with Lay, unfortunately.
Probably a good thing we didn't have Movie Night tonight; I can rewatch The Smartest Guys In The Room and make rude fart noises every time Lay opens his mouth now. I invite the entire state of California to join me . . .
