omorkaLast of the Feast of Lupercal shades. Will probably do the Halloween colors next.
Luperci is a sort of russet-brown with nondescript shimmer in the bag. On dry, it's a sort of dusty rum-raisin color with a lot of sparkle, mostly sky blue. On wet, it's a raisin-brown with an overlayer of shiny blue and pink. Its appearance over primer is identical to its wet appearance. It's an interesting near-neutral, and I'm a little sad it's gone for the year, as I might well want to re-order it.
Rumina is a shimmery pink in the bag, a little on the warm side. On me dry, the base shase is nearly invisible, as is normal for Aromaleigh's pinks, but there's a lot of nacreous glitter over that. On wet, there's an underlayer of slightly mauve-ish pink and a duochrome overlayer of iridescent silver - I can see green, blue, and magenta in the flash. On over primer, the mauve-pink base is a little darker and a little more visible. This is probably too flashy for me to wear as a main color, but I expect it will be an interesting highlight.
Trivia looks like powdered graphite in the bag, almost black and only a tiny bit shiny. On dry, it's a dusty charcoal with lots of glitter, mostly rose-pink but with a few other colors mixed in. On wet, it's a velvety charcoal with a lot of shimmer; the rose-pink dominates, but there's some visible teal and purple in there too. On over primer, the charcoal is a little closer to just coal black, but the shimmer is identical. This will probably be an eyeliner shade, as the charcoals tend to look bruisy on me as shadow.
Vestales is right between pink and lavender in the bag. On dry, it's a soft lavender with scattered pink and gold glitter. On wet is pretty much the same, except that the lavender is more visible (again, it's s shade that doesn't show up strongly against my skin tone). On over the primer, it's a warm lavender, and the pink and gold glitter are strong enough to almost make an overlayer of their own. It's interesting, but I think I want to see it in natural light before I decide whether I like it.
