On the writing front, this goofy thing is at just over 20,000 words, and I have four and a half scenes plus the epilogue to go.
And for the first time in a long time, I really want/need a beta. Not because I doubt my writing, but because this is a large and sprawling fandom, and I just can't watch all of it. It's been a long time since I started ficcing on a canon I wasn't up to date on. Given how flexible canon is in this universe, that's not as bad as it might sound, but it's still enough for me to need another pair of eyes from the same fandom. Too bad I don't know anyone there yet.

Date: 2015-04-26 01:19 am (UTC)It's not the length that makes me really want it beta'd - it's that Linkara isn't even in my top 5 characters from the Awesomeverse/Apocaverse, either in terms of personal fandom or in terms of familiarity. I've seen pretty much everything three of the reviewers have done and am about halfway through two more, but Linkara's focus is comic book reviews, and I'm not that big a comics fan anymore. So I really need someone who is specifically a Linkara fan to look over it, to make sure my understanding of the character from his appearances in the three films and the handful of his individual webshows I have seen isn't too far off.
