Most of the time, I like my adopted state, despite its ridiculous politics, but some things just don't make any damn sense. Like having a pledge of allegiance to the state flag. Or driving SUVs everywhere.

Or worrying about whether your baptism is stylish enough.

Texas has officially jumped the shark in terms of religion. I can't muster enough brain cells to even contemplate why this is even an issue.

To my thinking, that is just a little much. But, it seems no worse than a bridezilla extravaganza where $20K is blown in 4 hours. In any event, a fool and his money are soon parted...
