Back In Purple
Mar. 12th, 2002 01:46 amOh, my . . .
Well, I've been kicked off of LiveJournal for a while. This is the first time I've had both the time and the ability to log in since, oh, dear, October. Hmm. What all has happened since then?
Job: the Geometry kids have slowly gone berserk on me. Still enjoying the Alg. II kids, though. We finished TAAS (hooray!), and RR had a party at her place to celebrate, where I got to do the usual classwatching and powerwatching. As a result, I now know that the Boss knows that I'm afraid of authority figures in general and not him in particular (but he's a smart guy; he can figure these things out). It's odd to watch your superiors getting drunk.
Religion: CMA had a major explosion. It looks like most of the discontents are working themselves out of the equation one way or another, though. If things go well, Goo may be back in business as a HPS (as well as the Accord Editor), which would be a Good Thing Indeed. I haven't talked with Rasputin in a while, which is a bit sad.
Poly: Had a date with a couple, which went really well. Missed scheduling our second date several times. Now on hold because they have issues with their other involvees and a possible pregnancy issue as well. Ah, well. Got my toes wet, at least!
Hobbies: Oh, wow. Both Harry Potter and Mahou Tsukai Tai! are post-last post. I'm a major fangirl, and reading fanfic, which I _never_ thought I would do back, oh, say, last September. I suspect I'll have to post more about these later. Suffice it to say I'm on discussion mailing lists for both. I've dropped T_E again, after 9/11 turned the list into a frothing mass of hate. Ichi has started a list of his own, AtAgUn, which I'm on even though I'm technically none of the above.
Other: The G/K family may be moving back from California, as may the I/M family, if things out there don't pick up. Probably not to Houston, though; Austin is more likely in both cases. Either way, we'd get to see them more often, which would be a Good Thing. K&A have relocated from Cali to Indianapolis, and are enjoying it; they visited briefly over Yule break. I'm going to my high school 10-year reunion in May; the Imzadi is going to be there - with a date/spouse.
Mmm. More later. This is Spring Break, so I should get to write a bit.
