Optical Illusions

I can't see the first one on this monitor at all. Even knowing what to look for, I can barely see one edge. I could sort of see the second one, but not well enough to tell it wasn't as complex as I was trying to make it; knowing what I'm looking for, I can make it out fine, but I suspect if I went back to it after a few days I'd have almost as much trouble as I did the first time.
I think I've mentioned that both my brothers are red-green color blind, as was my maternal grandfather, which means my mother is a carrier. I have worried for a while that I might be a carrier as well (a silly thing to worry about, considering that my chances of reproducing are only slightly higher than a snowball's chance in hell). This suggests that I am not, or at least, if I am, my X-mosaic is such that neither retina is expressing that particular gene.
