omorkaWell, Earthlink called us yesterday to tell us the DSL would be back up on Wednesday. The Spouse discovered (by randomly plugging in the DSL modem) that it was, in fact up today. Nice birthday present. :)
I've been off at Apollocon all weekend, which has been a very pleasant (if a little more low-key than I'm used to for even a general con) experience; got to shepherd![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
memeslayer around his first non-anime, non-huge con in exchange for his giving me a ride, which was quite pleasant except for occasional bouts of exciting driving (I'm just teasing; I'm a wimp). There will be a post or two about the con later, depending on whether I split the filk out into its own post or not. It was nice to see all the LJ-ers in RL, especially the ones I got to sing with.
Didn't really do my birthday get-together; we're going to be having dinner at the Macaroni Grill on Tuesday with the MIL, if anyone cares to join us. There will be karaoke eventually, dammit, but I think we'll wait until the weekend for that.
Catching up on missed posts . . . this may take a while (especially since there's still a few carloads of crap at the old place, including almost all the camping gear and half of the Beans art, and once that's out I have to sweep, and wipe down baseboards, and clean the tile in the bathroom and kitchen).
