Sep. 2nd, 2005 11:23 pmThe building three doors down and across the street is ON FIRE.
Fortunately, the firefighters appear to have it under control already; it's a brick building and it hasn't reached the roof. We didn't see any flames, just smoke coming out of an upstairs window.
But oh, the smell, the many-times-gods-damned-smell. I HATE this. And there's a child crying in the driveway across the street who has at least lost hir room, if not hir home, depending on how early they caught it, and nothing I can do to comfort hir.
