The Shared Interests Meme, again

starcat_jewel was doing it:
Now, as I recall, it takes the interests you share in common with other LJ users (not necessarily friends) that are listed by X or fewer users (I think X=20, but I could be wrong; note that none of the scores is higher than 20) and then searches those users' interest lists for things they have in common that you don't already have listed.
Based on the lj interests lists of those who share my more unusual interests, the interests suggestion meme thinks I might be interested in:
1. witchcraft score: 19
A fair cop, but I already have magick, Neopaganism, Paganism, and Wicca listed. I'm not particularly interested in British Traditional Witchcraft or in hedgewitchery, which is what listing that interest separately would mean to me.
2. cats score: 19
I like cats, and they usually like me, but I have no great abiding interest in them, and I haven't had a meaningful friendship with one since Miss Kitty died.
3. anime score: 17
I like anime, but it's a huge category, some part of which (mecha fighting anime, for instance) I have no great interest in. I have "shojo anime" listed, and I generally enjoy non-stupid fantasy or SF anime, but I consider them covered under the "fantasy" and "science fiction" interests. Basically, I don't have this listed because I don't want to have it in common with the Dragonball Z fanboys.
4. history score: 17
I'm interested in history only as part of the narrative of something else, not as a subject in its own right.
5. movies score: 17
This is what I get for having uncommon interests in common with
quantumduck and
bibulb, no doubt. I'm not particularly a movie buff, and in fact rarely see things in theaters. In fact, I find the process of watching a movie to be somewhat exhausting most of the time - it's relentlessly visual, and I am so not the visual learner. (It's actually easier for me if there are subtitles; for some reason, "text" is not "visual" for me.) Having said that, my father and many of my close friends are movie buffs, and I've absorbed a lot from them.
6. love score: 15
Absorbed as I am with my own relationship difficulties, I don't find "love" per se to be an interest outside of its relation to either sex or general emotions, both of which I have listed. Perhaps I should list "compersion," though.
7. poetry score: 15
*shrug* I read a little, I write a little (badly), but not a hobby-level interest by any stretch.
8. psychology score: 15
Neuropsychology and xenopsychology, maybe. Ed-psych, sure. Counseling, yes. But not so much psychology as a practice of its own.
9. nature score: 13
True, but too general an interest to list, even for me.
10. art score: 13
Only a Salieri's interest in it. I can't do it, and that fact irks me no end. But for me to actually list it as an interest would require that I spend time on it, and that would lead to scary stalker-ish behavior on my part.
11. meditation score: 12
Mmm, true but too broad, again. "Magick" and "ritual" already cover this territory, for me, more specifically.
12. houston score: 11
Oh, interesting. But - not enough to list it, again.
13. coffee score: 11
I like it as a flavor, but - no. I don't even drink the stuff except in the occasional froufrou half-caf mocha latte mit schlag type of beverage.
14. pagan score: 11
Already covered several times over by other listed interests.
15. faeries score: 11
Miss. I respect the Fae Folk, but they're more an object of trepidation than anything else.
16. folklore score: 11
True to some extent, but mostly I'm interested in formal myth and the more specific folkloric things like herbalism.
17. chocolate score: 11
A clean miss. I'm less interested in chocolate than I am in coffee. For me, it's a flavor, like vanilla.
18. yoga score: 10
Another miss. I'm interested in magickal and meditative bodywork, but not that particular type.
19. fairy tales score: 10
*shrug* Only to the extent that they feed into mythology and/or fantasy.
20. shamanism score: 10
Only to the extent that it informs religious and magickal practice. Which, granted, is pretty heavily, but I'm much more of a temples-and-incense girl than a drums-and-sweat-lodges type.
