George Will and I agree on something!
I have to admit, I'm delighted to see a real conservative taking the Dubya to task for being a fake one. (For that matter, Bob Novak has been a little pissy at them ever since the administration left him holding the bag over that leak . . .) Most of them have rolled over and played apologist every time Dubya has expanded government control over something, or gone nation-building, or cozied up to the screaming fundies.
But the gaffe on "people whose skin color may not be the same as ours" - okay, some of my kids aren't citizens, but easily a third of the people I saw today who are citizens had skin tones in the same range as the average Iraqi. Another third were darker. Who's this "us" the Prez is blathering about? (Ain't the Iroquois or Inuit citizens of Canada, either.) Kudos to Will for pointing out that this is blather at best.

In other news, I updated the lyrics meme - the ones that haven't been gotten yet, I added another verse to expand the context a bit. (Not sure if that will help - I think the Spouse has already Googled the ones he didn't get on the first round.)
