15 Years Ago, I:
1. Was in my freshman year in high school
2. Was 3rd chair out of 8 in band
3. Had just realized that I'd been confirmed in a religion I didn't believe in

10 Years Ago, I:
1. Started my relationship with the Spouse
2. Was 3rd chair out of 4 in the concert version of the MOB
3. Had just realized I was Pagan, but wasn't ready to give up my heretical-Christian identity yet

5 Years Ago, I:
1. Was substituting in various Montessori schools
2. Had filled my deficiency plan and was getting ready to start certification
3. Was in a coven

3 Years Ago, I:
1. Was finishing my first year teaching
2. Was still adjusting to not having a gaming group
3. Was terrified that my admins (or students) would figure out I was Pagan

1 Year Ago, I:
1. Signed my green contract - the one that says they have to have good cause to fire me
2. Was trying to be the "supportive adult" for the ADHD Kid
3. Realized that both ADHD and French Horn knew I was Pagan

6 Months Ago, I:
1. Finally settled into teaching two new subjects
2. Was dying inside because of the whole mess with DM and K
3. Realized what a treasure my juniors really are

3 Months Ago, I:
1. Was fighting the good fight with exams
2. Realized that I'm a different person - one I like better - when I interact socially with people on a regular basis
3. Wasn't in the mood yet for Yule

1 Month Ago, I:
1. Set myself against the rising tide of TAKS hysteria
2. Was recovering from OwlCon and feeling like a gamer again
3. Figured out which kids I ws going to be interacting with for tournaments/UIL and worried

1 Week Ago, I:
1. Was grading like a house on fire to get everything in
2. Skipped the Swan (again) because I was too busy
3. Was sleep-deprived to the point of taking a penalty to Will rolls

My Top 3 Bad Habits
1. Knee-jerk elitism
2. Procrastination
3. Picking at things (both physically and metaphorically)

My Top 3 Biggest Worries at the Moment:
1. That Mrs. G really does want me gone (I'm afraid I'll be disappointing her)
2. That TAKS is going to eat the school, one way or another
3. That the Shrub will somehow get re-elected and I'll have to move to Canada

My Top 3 Biggest Joys at the Moment:
1. the Spouse (I don't tell him that often enough)
2. Good music
3. Friends, even if I only meet them online
