The Light - It Burns Us . . .
Jun. 21st, 2004 08:08 pmI am in the process of having the worst migraine I've had in the last five years. I think that awful cigar the doorman at the Axiom was smoking set it off. I barely dragged myself out of bed at all yesterday, and I had to hide in the bedroom all day today just because it was so bright out. (Well, duh, it was Solstice; of course it was bright.) I'm a bad Pagan for not celebrating Solstice properly, but it's hard to celebrate it when it's hurting you. (That's Samhain's job.)
So - PB,
moontyger, and
wileras, especially - I'm not blowing you off; I'm just not functional right now.
Spouse should be announcing my Solar Return dinner shortly, but in case he doesn't, it'll be Friday evening at the Corelli's on Westheimer. Time and details to follow. The migraine ought to be over by then.

Date: 2004-06-21 06:19 pm (UTC)We will be at Pallas Mid-summer, I'm afraid, sweetie.
We'll toast you at the cake party, though. :)
And we'll miss you.
I worked most of Saturday, and then Saturday night from about 11 to 2 Sunday morning.
Gods I wish my life was normal again, so we could do normal things. :(
You may think you are a bad Pagan (which you are most emphatically not), but I *know* I'm a bad priestess.
:P
