Walkabout Wednesday
Jul. 10th, 2003 02:16 amI am highly miffed. No one was at the Black Swan tonight. (Technically, that's not true - JC and an old gaming acquaintance of mine were both there, but they were engaged in discussions with other people. What I mean is, none of our usual crowd were there.) Here my one chance per week of getting out of this thrice-cramped apartment comes, and I get no meaningful human interaction out of it at all. *Mope, mope.*
The glitter came in today, right before we left for the Swan. I shouldn't have opened it - it had been in a UPS truck all day, and thus was liquid instead of semi-solid. I'm just lucky I didn't spill it everywhere.
Still have heard nothing from Rice about next week. I need to find out who to call to see if I'm signed up - and call the school if I'm not, to see what happened. Silver lining: if I didn't get registered for the AP Institute at Rice, I can go to all of CAMT instead of just Saturday.
Haven't heard from DM in over a week, which I hope means my Scary Stalker Bitch from Hell count has gone back down. The Spouse actually encouraged me to get in touch with him, albeit in his tentative, I-do-and-I-don't-want-you-to sort of way. I suppose I can call him tomorrow and ask him if he's interested in (a) Movie Night and/or (b) the DreamTrybe show on Saturday.
Trusting the Moon . . .
