Is it Ironic, or does it just Suck?
May. 22nd, 2004 12:09 amReading something about Mel Gibson on a snarky media site while listening to the lyric "Follow the God that failed" is amusing, somehow.
Okay, yes, I had to admit I'm listening to Metallica to say that. I still refuse to believe that this is an inherently ignoble pursuit. (Even though I've had to rip this album twice. And I don't actually own any of their other albums. I'm debating just getting the good stuff off of iTunes . . .)
In other news, listening to the lines "You still stood there screaming/No one caring about these words you tell" in the context of Mrs. G's contant bleating over the intercom is also rather funny.
