. . . The lead vocalist on this song sounds remarkably like David Lee Roth.

The backing vocalists, on the other hand, sound a lot like Def Leppard. And the drum work reminds me a little bit of late AC/DC, although I couldn't pinpoint why.

Y&T (AKA Yesterday & Today) were/are a band from the San Francisco Bay Area who had a pretty good run in the very late 70s-early 80s. They were a good solid hard rock band with some strong songs and excellent lead guitar playing from said vocalist, Dave Meniketti. As I am the Metal Mentat, I remember them pretty well and have good things to say about them. I'm sure you can find some stuff of theirs on YouTube for further reference.
