While this is only peripheral to why I am no longer a capital-C Christian, it is directly relevant to why I skipped the WELS Synod for the ELCA my first year in college.

And I've been trying to explain to people for a long time that you can't be an Objectivist and a Christian - that they are more opposed to each other even than Christianity and LaVeyan Satanism.

Ye ghods. This needs to be required reading for every non-fundie Christian in America. It should be read by the rank-and-file fundies too, but you'd never get them to do it. :(
