My journal is called "Omorka's Lair" because it's in keeping with the draconic theme. The place where a dragon makes its home is its lair, right? I have this faint image of the entries being scratched carefully onto the walls in eldritch runes.

My subtitle is "Where she lies on a pile of gemstones and lesson plans" because it's an oblique reference to my avocations and vocation - beadwork and teaching. Besides, I like the idea of my draconic self keeping a treasure-bed of those things, with a few books and odds and ends thrown in.

My friends page is called "Omorka's Horde" because I liked the play on words between a dragon's hoard and a horde of screeching bloggers.

And, just for the hell of it: My Username is Omorka because it's one of my matron's names that she isn't using much anymore. Specifically, it's her Akkadian name. I tend to borrow names of hers for my various online identities, except for a couple of more public ones.
