So the Phelps Hate Clan was counter-protested in Chicago this weekend. Now, I think these biblefuckers should be ignored; they thrive on any attention at all. But if they have to get some, being made fun of is probably the best way to do it.

Still, any protest in which straight frat boys strip for tolerance has to be a good thing on some fundamental level. And, well, we knew this already.

I was particularly amused (it was that or scream and I have laryngitis) by the spokesbitch's 'reply' to them. Anyone who considers 'half-naked girlyboys' to be valid argument is already doing themselves more damage than I could manage without a lot more effort.

Particular love for the frat boys' Straight Hugging banner. Now if only they could've gotten the courage to shake their moneymakers a little more...

I was also amused by her comment about juxtaposing "this little group of servants of God" and "this restless mob of humanity." Those words, I don't think she's applying them in her mind to the right group.
