My grandmother was Old South, a Democrat to the core, and she raised me right. There are a lot of us magnolia intellectuals out here, too.


Oh, and this county-by-county election map is interesting, too. In particular - follow the Mississippi river down the map!

Thanks for the link! The county map showing shades of purple gives the best view of voting trends I've seen. It's much more enlightening than the sea of red shown in the standard map. I wonder why you never see these in televised election coverage.
