Civic Duty #1
Oct. 27th, 2008 10:04 pmManaged to make it to the early voting place after work today. Line was long but fast-moving. Crossed over to vote for one Libertarian (she was the only opposition to a particularly odious Republican member of the State Board of Education; I genuinely would prefer someone who wants to dismantle the whole edifice to this woman) and two Republicans (in both cases because I question the actual competence of their Democratic opposition).
Man, I hate these voting machines. Not only is there no paper trail, but they're physically awkward to operate, and slightly non-intuitive. They highlight things that aren't voting options, like the title of the position.
