Mar. 7th, 2008 11:33 pmNormally I'm into the cool and windy and rainy, but this round of transitional weather feels mildly oppressive, somehow. Less like spring struggling out of winter, and more like a bit of the upper northeast that wandered too far from home, and is now angry and frightened at finding itself in a place where the oak leaves are already spreading skyward and the peach blossoms have come and gone again. Like it was looking for Imbolc and found itself in the lap of Ostara already.
Or maybe it's just sleep deprivation. I finally get a morning to sleep in tomorrow, but I have so much I need to do - cleaning up around the place (my study is a mass of books and packaging), getting more laundry done, working through a little more of my current mini-Grading-Hell.
I prescribe at least nine hours of sleep and More Tea. And afternoon temps in the upper 60s would be nice.
