Indeed. That whole row is adventure games. Guybrush is followed by the "Day of the Tentacle" tentacle, and the last one on that row is the more recent "Grim Fandango", which was, until recently, considered the last great moment in adventure gaming.
The LucasArts game is actually not even the ref. most people who read VGCats would get. More recently Sam and Max have appeared in a series of adventure games for the MS/X-Box. The new games are pretty well regarded, and have sort of rekindled interest in the genre for a whole new generation of gamers.
