A Week's Work
Jan. 16th, 2004 08:18 pmI should not be this tired. I was almost falling over at a couple of points at work. I may have to bring in a little plastic-glob-thing of half-and-half and a box of Morning Thunder. I've been way more sleep-deprived before and still able to function . . . I was only running an hour and a quarter short. Then again, Spouse has already fallen over.
Car back. Works. Yay.
Other set of silly clothes came in yesterday. Yay again.
The kids were really loud today. Not so yay. Then again, I'm having almost zero discipline issues otherwise, so yay.
We had, at various points, planned on doing things this evening with either
moontyger or DM or both, but since the Spouse has alread gone to bed, I suspect neither one is happening. Too bad - I was looking forward to being social. Tomorrow, for sure . . .
On the way home, in the course of conversing with the Spouse, I made the following anime observation, which he insisted I post for posterity: Love Hina is like bad candy. You really don't want to eat it; it's not wrth the calories and it doesn't taste good. But when you're hungry, and alone in the room with the bowl of bad candy, you eat up eating it anyway, because it's better than nothing and it's available.
