Tyndale House Publishers seems to be serious about attracting the youth market for Jesus, but I have to admit their methods seem suspect - I mean, we've had plenty of graphic novels of the Gospels before, right? I don't think borrowing another culture's style is really going to help.

Unless you think Mary M. was a boy in drag, that would be het, not slash. Jesus/John the Beloved, on the other hand (or Jesus/Judas, if you're into the hatesex) . . .

Oops, I got my terminology wrong! I guess a true slash presentation would lead into a debate over whether He was divine or faaaabulous.
