But I thought this was awesome, despite not really showing the Sumerians or the first Babylonian Empire, just the Chaldean one: Who Owned the Middle East?

I especially like the moment at the end when the various empires are superimposed on Jerusalem and Baghdad in quick succession. Ah, perspective!

This is why I love my historical atlases, it shows this clearly on paper. It does simplify a lot but I liked this. Thanks for sharing!
