Only Home Is Bone
Sep. 15th, 2003 08:10 pmSo Thursday is our first half-day. Instead of getting to go eat on our own and re-convening back at the school at 12:15 like normal, we have to be at Lionville at 11:30 and a box lunch will be provided. I would actually be half okay with this if (a) they were providing us with a shuttle bus and (b) there were some way for me to get back to Ramton. Unfortunately, neither is the case. Getting a ride over is merely inconvenient, but they really shouldn't be putting me in that position. Getting a ride back is going to be ridiculous. I suspect I will just walk back to the main street and bus straight home - which means hauling all my crud to Lionville with me. (In someone else's car, yet.)
The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented annual conference is coming up. I wonder if I can get the district to pay for my ticket. I bet I can, if I catch the coordinator in the correct mood.
I failed my get-CMA-Samhain-Stuff-done roll today. I get to roll again tomorrow; I certainly hope I can do better.
Plot, plot, plan, plan . . .
