Losing Access

omorkaThe phone switches over from this place to the new one tomorrow. That means that we will be losing our DSL line, among other things. Moreover, since they chan't be chuffed to flip the switch that enables DSL at our new place for "7-10 business days," the following things are likely to happen:
1) Our phone service will be potentially flaky for the next two or three days. Try our cell phones first if you need to get in touch with us, especially about Bagels on Sunday.
2) We will both be going offline either tonight or sometime early tomorrow morning (hopefully we'll be unhooking the computers and taking them both over tonight, but it depends on how the Spouse is feeling about messing with cables and whether the MIL has space in her car for them), and probably staying offline until sometime Saturday or Sunday.
3) Once we come back up Saturday or Sunday, we'll be on dial-up for at least a week and possibly as long as two. It's better than having no Internet service at all, of course, but it does mean that I probably won't be reachable by IM, and that I'll be checking LJ much less frequently than usual. On the bright side, it means I won't be tempted to fool around here instead of finishing the packing and cleaning . . .
Anyway, if you don't hear much from me this weekend or even next week, that's why. It's not that I don't love you all; it's just that it's going to take ages for anything to download.
