omorkaSo I'm walking back from Constantinople (the Greek/Turkish coffee bar about four blocks away) after tutoring one of my students for her SAT math (like the vast majority of my students, she'd forgotten what little geometry He Who Must Be Deposed managed to settle upon them by accident). I'm listening to the iShuffle when the cell phone goes off; I'd tried to call the Spouse earlier and failed to get through, and he was returning my call.
So there I am, walking down the street in loose cotton clothing and a straw hat, with an iPod earbud in one ear, a cellphone at my right ear, and a graphing calculator in a canvas bag slung at my shoulder. Along with the schedule for Apollocon, Fruits Basket volume 9, and a pad of paper with SAT math problems all over the front and a collection of Big Eyes, Small Mouth RPG characters in the back.
