Scary Stuff from the Religious Right (again)

This post from Orcinus connects the hard-right anti-immigration rhetoric with the Religious Right's whole Dominionist argument. I'm not sure if it's at heart the same impulse, or if the latter is just borrowing the former's language in order to strengthen the political alliance (which has been showing wear at the seams recently).

"Idolatry of ideology" sounds about right.
