GLBTQ and Other Sexual Rights
Oct. 4th, 2006 08:29 pmFor your consideration:
For "bi" in the above, substitute "queer." Or "women's." Or "kinky". Or "trans." Or "poly." Or, in fact, any mutually consensual nonstandard sexuality, gender orientation, or sexual orientation. I support the right of any mutually consenting people to celebrate their turn-ons and orgasms, each in their own way, without having to worry about discrimination in housing, being prevented from visiting their beloveds in the hospital, or violence from people who like their sex otherwise. And I find myself disappointed in my allies that they constantly and consistently narrow their focus to one particular form of nonstandard sexuality.
"Why is it that, as a culture, we are more comfortable seeing two men holding guns than holding hands?" - Ernest Gaines
We would like to know who really believes in bisexual rights on LiveJournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in bi rights, then repost this and title the post as "Bi Rights". If you don't believe in bi rights, then just ignore this. Thanks.
