Although these are really the same people that Molly Ivins used to call the "Shiite Republicans" back in the day. I don't particuarly like the implicit comparison to what we don't like about someone else's monotheism. These are followers of Mather's and Edwards's Angry God, and we grew them right here, folks.

So I've been getting back into the rhythm of cooking this past week-and-a-half. Here are two of my "needs no prep" recipes. The second one is even vegetarian - vegan, if you leave out the cheese.

So right now I'm planning on running an every-other-Friday GURPS game, alternating with [livejournal.com profile] wileras's Star Wars game. Since the Spouse is sort of an important character in the SW game (his PC owns the ship), and since he tends to only have energy for gaming once every other week, he probably won't be playing in the GURPS game. As of right now, that means I'd be running a duo game with Wileras and [livejournal.com profile] moontyger.

We discussed a couple of possibilities: my GURPSification of Talislanta, a more generic Tolkienesque fantasy setting (probably a resurrection of the old Twin Kingdoms setting, unless I come up with a cooler idea - at least that way I can use MLL's old maps), or a modern urban fantasy setting (which I would have to either steal from GURPS Technomancer or make up from scratch). [livejournal.com profile] wileras seemed to be more interested in the first, [livejournal.com profile] moontyger in the last. I have them listed more or less in my preferred order, but my preference isn't that strong - mostly I just want to be GMing something on a regular basis.

Anyone else have any ideas? Or want to play?
