Kids say the weirdest things . . .
Sep. 28th, 2004 08:48 pmIn Stats class today (why is it always Stats this year?) I happened to overhear one of my Bearville kids griping about something.
"Look, everybody does it. Everybody knows everybody does it. I'm not afraid to talk about it; I don't know why everyone else is so ashamed of it."
I turned and looked at him - not the Look of Doom, but the "you might want to reconsider what you just said" look. And the class burst out laughing as he protested that I'd misunderstood him.
Fortunately, I knew he'd been talking about procrastination, since I'd actually heard the previous line, but everyone else in the room hadn't. :)
